Mr Eccles conducts the band at his 90th birthday party

The 1970s era brass band from Corpus Christi High School in Leeds reformed in February 2008 to play at the 90th birthday of their conductor and music teacher, Ron Eccles.

After the party, the band decided to continue playing together, rehearsing regularly and playing at various concerts and charity functions. If you would like a brass band for your function, please contact us at the email address at the foot of this page.

Since reforming, the band has acquired some new players. Fortnightly rehearsals, and a light concert programme make the band appeal to anyone who has had to let their playing fall by the wayside due to other commitments. New players in all sections are welcome. Rehearsals are at 2pm every other Sunday at The Newman Centre (formerly St Theresa's Parish Centre), Station Road, Crossgates, Leeds. See the calendar for dates.
